Well it is Christmas Eve, what is to be one of the happiest days for many children, the day that all children go to bed early and get up real early. I remember as a child I would get up at 4am so I could see what was under the silver tinsel Christmas Tree that sat on top of our TV that refused to work, most of the time. I did not know that Rudolph had a red nose until I was in high school.
I remember one Christmas night that I got a Model 1986 BB Rifle from santa. It Was The Collest! I spent the rest of the night with my gift by my side, man i was so lucky. Then I remember as a 4 yr old I got a cowboy outfit, complete with Hat, vest, boots, and 2 six guns. Billy The Kid had nothing on me, nothing!
We all have memories that take us back to our child hood, time we spent just beind a kid and waiting on Santa. On this Eve before Jesus birthday I pray that we remember it is not the gifts, or the hipe or even the food, it is all about the Savior! There are alot of kids without anything to look foward to , there will be no toys, or gifts for them. I hope that they find Jesus for the Holidays and spend time in His arms of Love!

Christmas Celeberation
It Is Cool To Bless People
Today the men in the church got together to bless those around the church with some Christmas Joy. I was so excited to see the looks in the eyes of those we took food to, fruit and even a flower for the table. I know that at this time of year is when we who have can give to those who do not, because of the Grace of God.
While I was in Colorado I was part of a Christmas suprise for a family in the community that i lived. This was a family that had nothing, three kids, father was dying and mom without a job. As a family we went to the store handed them money and a phone number asking them to fill up as much as you could get so Christmas would be in their home. With bag after bag of food, toys, personal items, and gifts the store manager made the call to the family.
On Christmas morning the phone rang and the mom was on the other end shouting with joy about the suprise that she had recieved. She said,”I had no food or anything for my family, This Is the Best Christmas EVER!”
I say that to say this, In this time of the year pour out some love in the lives of those around you and allow God to bring Happiness to those in Need!
Merry Christmas!
Memories
It is beginning to feel alot like Christmas… the stress, the pressure, the pain and the emptyness of being without family. These are the thoughts that are in the minds of many people that you encounter each day on the street or in our churches. How do we overcome? Some would say,”Give me another Egg Nog please!”, or “I will just stay home” all are in need of something but how do we help them find it.
I have not always been a big fan of Christmas. I have had good ones and bad ones, happy ones and sad ones, but the thing is, they come and go so let us just enjoy. Please do not get me wrong, I am in to Jesus and His Birth, it is all the hustle and the STUFF you must do to celeberate. WHY?
When will we look around and see the true meaning of Christmas? Did the wise men run to Targret for the right Gifts for Jesus, were the shepards looking for a drive through Wallgreens when the star appeared, NOOO they just went to the Child!!! If we would put down the flash and pick up the Baby we could be blessed beyond measure.
Jesus came not for the lights and the raindeer in your yard, He came for those who have NOTHING! He came for the ones who are dying and on there way to a Fire Pit Grave for EVER!
It is time we take Jesus of our fireplace and put Him in our Heart for the Season. Go out today and share some Random Kindnes in the lives of people you do not Know. In the morning we as a church are taking Christmas to 15 families that need a blessing. They don’t know we are comong we just are. We are bring them food for the holiday and cheer for there heart. It is TIME WE PUT JESUS BACK IN CHRISTMAS!
So HOHOH AND away we GO!
Have a Jolly Jolly Day filled with Jesus
